Norfolk Island Bowling Club and Bowls Council.. |

When you visit the Island, (Captain Cook called it Paradise) you will find the people here are the friendliest in the world and they will make you most welcome. Our permanent population on the island is approximately 1800 most of whom are decendants of the Mutiny on the Bounty survivors,(Pitcairn Islanders) but we have many visitors during the year. The local language is quaint and unique in that it is a mixture of Tahitian and Old English. |

| Our two main Bowls Tournaments for 2007are: | ||
| April 29 to May 12..The Bounty Fours, Men,Women and Mixed. | ||
| August: 20 - 25th.Oceania Classic Triples. | ||
We
play Bowls socially all year round and welcome bowlers from anywhere
in the World but, you don't have to be a bowler to enjoy our amenities,
just come along and make some new friends. |

Sec/Manager Margaret O'Brien is always on hand to make your stay a pleasant experience. The Club in future will be known as The Norfolk Island Bowling Club and Bowls Council.
